Blockages which can get in your way of securing a job

For job seekers who are trying so hard to secure a job and are not successful, please look at any Blockages you may have. These blockages can be: you go into an interview thinking that “other people are better than yourself” or “more qualified.” Some people have told you, “you do not suit that job”. You may go in thinking “I am too old”.

What I would like job seekers to do is, when you have any of these types of thoughts, write them down, then, keep writing because as you write, you will be pleasantly surprised with the outcome. Our Blockages may have come from: when we were young and we were told we were not good at anything – What does that do to you when going for an interview?

I will explain, you go in with: 1) low self-esteem, 2) self-doubt, 3) feeling insecure – straight away those thoughts/behaviours put your mind in a state of “I am not good enough”, hence – that does come across in an interview. These days recruiters and firms are very skilled in picking up body language, negative thought patterns, negative emotions – you have lost the opportunity. So one way to clear this is by writing as I suggested.

Another way is to have Coaching so that you can get to the bottom of what is going on. You may not even realise there is something, however, I can guarantee there is something in your subconscious that is stopping you -this is easily rectified.

Let me give you a couple of questions to ask yourself. 1) What kinds of thoughts am I having that create this? 2) What are you believing that causes you to miss out on the job? What are you getting out of this? Self Pity???

Start to understand yourself and Succeed!!!
