Our attitudes towards money can often fly under the radar – not front of mind in the midst of daily and weekly routine. If you take a deeper look, you might find you harbour some negative money thoughts. But where do those attitudes come from? And how do they impact our lives? You might be surprised.
Mind Over Money Matters (MOMM) is designed to help you understand your money thoughts, how they impact your daily life, and importantly – how you can change and better manage them for success. Success for you may be planning a way to get out of tricky or frustrating financial circumstances, or simply allowing the rivers of riches to flow in.
With a focus on the Power of the Mind, you’ll unpack your negative money thoughts in this course, breaking them into manageable steps to work (and re-work) through.
Combining active learning techniques, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping), meditation, various learning resources and weekly activities, MOMM will take you through each of the steps you identify, allowing you to apply work and learnings to your specific circumstances.
You will complete this course with:
- A clearer understanding of your money thoughts and the power of the mind and how to apply it to manage your thoughts
- A fresh perspective on (and confidence around being open with) your financial situation
- A feeling of preparedness to better your finances
This course is for anyone who feels stuck financially – whether you have a goal in mind but aren’t sure how to get there, or an issue you want to resolve.

Denise is a certified Life Coach and Financial Mindset Coach with over 35 years experience across the corporate, NFP, government and entrepreneurship sectors.
She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Counselling and Emotional Freedom Technique, and is particularly passionate about helping people to break through negative money thoughts and and life transitions. Be it from one career step to another, or one way of thinking to another more effective, positive way that opens up new doors to success.
Much of her work focuses on growth and wellbeing – helping people understand their fears and negative thought patterns, and understanding themselves – an element Denise sees as vital to any of her training.
As a course facilitator, Denise draws on her personal, industry and theoretical experience, while leveraging coaching techniques and a personable communication style. Her client feedback reflects her “innate ability to deal effectively and efficiently with identifying and focusing on her clients’ needs” and commitment to working in partnership with each client – to ensure strategy and solutions are designed to meet their desired outcomes.
(1 hour online ‘class time’ per week, plus a 1-1.5 hour task per week to complete)
